cafta issues in costa rica

A lot of Costa Ricans are against CAFTA (Central America Free Trade Agreement) for whatever reason, and a group of students has organized a protest which started exactly 40 minutes ago, I wasn’t able to go. The thing is, this group of students has been getting a lot of bad press, they have been labeled as rebels and whatnot, and they decided to make their own video to explain what they do.

I believe they are doing something good, even if it won’t change anything, so I’ll embed their video here so more people see it. (It’s in spanish though).

The student group is called MEA (Movimiento de Estudiantes Alternativo), and they are against CAFTA, which is yet to be made official in Costa Rica. No matter what they do though, the Free Trade Agreement is going to happen. It doesn’t mean they can’t still stand up and fight for what they believe in.
